Reinstalled Engine
Created on 2007-05-02 12:58:02
Tough to do with one person...suggest you get help while reinstalling the engine. THe engine hasto go in at an extreme angle, so i tied off to the water elbow on the top of the engine and onto one on the top transmission bolts. while putting it in i had a tie down i wrapped around the back of the transmission and pulled it through the hole in the transmission tunnel so i could get the rear of the transmission above a rear plate. While having someone push and lower the engine simotaneously.
After getting the engine in place i out the engine mount bolts in loosely and bolted the tranny mount on, the got a jack to lift up the back of the transmission so the transmission mount could be bolted to the car properly. Then i went back to the engine mount bolts and put lock-tite on them and tightened everything up. I would reccoment loosening the engine mounts so thye can be moved into place.
